  • Make sure all guards are in place and working at all times.
  • Inspect material for any foreign objects (nails, staples, etc.) before cutting.
  • Make blade adjustments with the saw turned on.
  • Make sure the stock is held firmly against the fence and the table before cutting.
  • Keep hands away from the cut line and blade.
  • Do not start the blade while it is touching the stock.
  • Wait for blade to reach full speed before beginning to cut.
  • Remove scraps and stock while the saw blade is still spinning.
  • It is ok to leave the machine before it has come to a complete stop.
  • You should always use a clamp to hold small pieces.
